Components
The paper egg carton machine consists of four main components:
Pulping system
This system involves mixing the waste paper and water into a pulp. The pulping system is made up of a hydra-pulper, a vibrating screen, a refiner, and a pulp pump.
Moulding system
The moulding system shapes the pulp into the desired egg carton shape. The moulding system is made up of forming moulds and transfer moulds.
Drying system
The drying system is responsible for removing excess moisture from the cartons. The drying system is made up of a dryer, a hot air blower, and a conveyor belt.
Packaging system
The packaging system packs the dried egg cartons into stacks. The packaging system is made up of a packing machine, a hot press, and a counting and stacking machine.
Process
Pulping
Raw materials are sent to hydraulic pulper. After 20 minutes, the crushed raw materials flow to a pulping pool by gravity. Then water and chemical additives are added to adjust the mixture. The pulp is then filtered to remove impurities, making it ready for use in egg carton production.
Molding
Under the power of vacuum system, the prepared pulp is fed into the molding machine. In the molding system, the pulp is injected into specially designed egg carton molds. Through compression molding techniques, the pulp is shaped into a preliminary wet egg carton.
Drying
The wet egg cartons are transferred via a conveyor belt into a metal dryer. Then they are subjected to high temperatures to ensure thorough dehydration. Drying time is about 17-18 minutes. This process not only removes moisture from the wet cartons but also enhances the durability and structural integrity of the egg cartons.
Packaging
The dried egg cartons are sent to a automatic collector and a baler machine to pack. The compressed egg cartons are then sorted and labeled, ready for storage or direct shipment to customers.
