A corrugated cardboard production line consists of two core process sections: the wet-end and dry-end equipment, forming a complete cardboard processing system.
The wet-end equipment includes key devices such as a roller mill, automatic splicer, single- and double-face corrugator, preheater, bridge machine, and gluing machine. Through multiple processes, the base paper is processed into three- to seven-layer corrugated cardboard with various flute profiles.
The dry-end equipment is equipped with slitter/crimson cutters, crosscutters, and stackers, enabling precise slitting, creasing, crosscutting, and stacking of cardboard to meet diverse order requirements.

Corrugated Cardboard Production Line Process
The corrugated cardboard production line begins with paper roll loading. First, the paper roll is placed on a grinding roller rack in a specific orientation. Each layer of paper web is heated in a preheater to improve bonding properties. The corrugated base paper is preheated and humidity-controlled in a preconditioner before being fed into the single-facer to ensure the paper meets standard flatness.
In the single-facer, the corrugated base paper undergoes fluting, gluing, and bonding with liner paper to form single-faced corrugated board. The board is then lifted by a conveyor onto a bridge conveyor, where it is braked and introduced into the preheating process.
Next, two sheets of single-faced corrugated board are glued separately in a gluing machine, while the liner paper undergoes a second preheating. All three sheets are then fed into the drying system of the double-facer for lamination and bonding.
The heat-formed board passes through a cooling section to remove moisture. After cooling on the dryer conveyor belt, it is precisely cut to size by a CNC cross-cutting machine. Finally, the finished boards are automatically stacked by a stacker.
